NURSERY – Volunteers are needed.  If you have children in the nursery we would love for you to sign up for 1 Sunday a month to help in the nursery.  Children ages 0-6 years old please.

Annual Church Picnic Sunday August 24th   @ Powell Barnett Park located on M.L.King Way between E. Alder and E. Jefferson St following Morning Worship.  Please bring your items/food to the park before going to service, this request is very important.  We had problems last year with cold food.  We don’t want that again.  Please bring the following items.

Last names: A-B family pack of chicken legs x2, C-D family pack chicken thighs x2, E-H family pack of chicken wings x2, I-J pound cake’s ONLY x3,

K-L potato salad x1 large roasting pan full, M-N baked beans x1 large roasting pan full, P-R case water x2/watermelonx1, S-T case pop x2/bag chips x2, U-Z slabs ribs x2.  All food’s are to be cooked before bringing to park.  If you would like to give money instead, put in envelope with your name and give it to Sis. Vacation Bible School – August 25th-29th – 6:00PM to 8:30PM.  This years theme is Gods Big Back Yard (Learning to serve God).  I would encourage all to attend and invite your neighbor and enjoy what this years Theme is truly about.  If you have any questions please contact Sis.
